Student Co-creation Project

We have announced a new partnership initiative with the University of Liverpool, inviting students to help shape the future of GP services for a population of more than 96,000 patients, including around 30,000 students.

As one of the city’s largest primary care providers, Brownlow Health has a long-standing relationship with the University, built on shared goals to improve student wellbeing, access to care and health outcomes. The new programme marks a significant step forward, placing students at the centre of service design and development.

The initiative will see students actively involved in co‑creating improvements to primary care services, helping the organisation better understand how young adults access and experience healthcare. Through research, analysis and design work, students will contribute insights into what matters most to their peers and identify opportunities to improve accessibility, communication and digital services.

By involving students as co‑designers and collaborators, we aim to strengthen our student health offer, improve patient experience, and further deepen our partnership with the University of Liverpool.

The outcomes of the programme will inform future service development and help ensure that primary care remains accessible, inclusive and responsive to the needs of a diverse student population.
